The words we speak float upon the breeze. They are often carried away never to be heard again~ but, sometimes, just sometimes they find their way and rest upon the one of whom they were spoken. Then the painful poison that they possess trickles into their ears where they painfully rest.
So unless it is with wicked and hurtful intent that you speak...Be careful what you say about people.

Ooh, I like that one! I'm always paranoid about saying negative things about people and it coming back to haunt me. A couple times when I was younger I said some really mean things (of course, I was just trying to be funny) and I had to apologize to them, it was very embarassing!
Wow, I love this post Sunny! It's so true. I might have to copy this onto my blog...with your permission of course. I live and die by what you wrote here. I've had to learn the hard way in my many years. It's no fun to find out the hard way. Thanks for writing these truths.
You are more than welcome to use the blog as you like. I know that not one of us can find ourselves exempt from having hurt another with a thoughtless word. I think of those who's opinion of themselves is so high they feel free to judge others openly.
one of my worst nightmares... hurting people with my words... you're right, none of us are exempt, and I know when I've been guilty of this it has never been with "wicked & hurtful intent", and yet it still destroys me to find out I've hurt another's heart. It's good to live by the creed to only speak about someone something that you'd say to their face.
